Ryan is a state leader in promoting sustainable growth and development, and will focus on re-investing in our neighborhoods, the downtown area, and our commercial corridors while positioning South Bend as a modern, progressive city at the heart of our regional economy.
 He will focus on neighborhood infill development and the clean-up of abandoned properties. He will also work to improve parks and green space, and increase access to quality public transit across the city.
Ryan will also increase community participation in our city government and make doing business with the city a much simpler process.
He will create a Mayor’s Hotline to report problems or ask questions directly to the Mayor’s office by phone or on the internet. He will also implement a quality management system to make sure city services are meeting the needs of all our citizens, and that city departments are adequately working for every citizen who comes to them.
